Is it worth refuelling in Slovenia?
Gorizia and Nova Gorica are effectively one city split by a border you can no longer see. Slovenia caps fuel prices periodically and keeps them steadily below Italy’s, which carry higher excise duties: the per-litre gap is among the widest in Italy, and you just cross to capture it.
